Gino Sarfatti

Gino Sarfatti (Venice, 1912 - Gravedona, 1984) graduated in Aeronaval Engineering from the University of Genoa and from 1939 he dedicated himself to lighting fundando Arteluce, national and international reference of the Movement of modern design in the field of lighting.
Sarfatti designed and produced more than 400 lamps in his 30 career years, providing innovative solutions for shapes, materials, production technologies, light sources, lighting technical effects and design features, receiving numerous awards, like the Compasso d'Oro in 1954 and 1955 and the Honorary Diploma of the Triennale in Milan.
