Frank Gehry was born in 1929 in Toronto (Canada). He studies Architecture at the University of Southern California and Urban Planning at the Harvard University School of Design. In 1962, he opened the Frank Gehry & Associates architecture studio in Los Angeles. Between 1969 and 1972 he was dedicated to the design of the "Easy Edges" cardboard furniture series.
In 1974 he obtains chairs in Harvard and Yale; and in 1982, 1985 and between 1987 and 1989 he occupies the chair of architecture Charlotte Davenport of Yale University, where he teaches classes to date.
