Davide Groppi

Davide Groppi (1963) is an acclaimed Italian designer and manufacturer of lamps.
After finishing high school, he began his professional career as a cartoonist. In 1988 he opened a small workshop in the center of his hometown, Piacenza, in northern Italy.
A few years later, Maddalena De Padova - founder of the eponymous furniture brand - exhibited a lamp that she designed in the beautiful and historic DePadova showroom on Corso Venezia, Milan, during the Salone del Mobile (Milan Furniture Fair). That branded the success of Groppi.
The lamps he designs and manufactures are aesthetically simple but conceptually sophisticated, with a beauty made of pure and minimal geometries. They are the result of true dedication, skill and passion.
Recently, he has been awarded several important awards, including the EDIDA Award 2011 (Elle Decor International Design Award) for "the most beautiful lamp in the world", and two Compasso d'Oro 2014 for the Nulla lamp - "for having designed the light and not the lamp "- and Sampei -" for being both a suspension and a floor lamp "-.
Naharro furniture distributes the pieces manufactured by different furniture and lighting brands and designed by Davide Groppi in its stores in Madrid and online store, with delivery and assembly service throughout Spain. Ask us for any additional information.
