Christian Dell (1893-1974) was a German goldsmith and designer who began as a manager of the metal workshop at La Bauhaus (1922-1925), where he implemented his innovative style. The Bauhaus brought together several of the most prominent contemporary designers, but beginning in 1926 Dell turned to the design of lamps, often edited by Gebr. Kaiser & Co.
In its first catalog, launched in 1936, the model stood out 6631 Luxus Collection Kaiser Idell TMWhich became a symbol of German design. Today, the brand of furniture design Fritz hansenedit this series of designer lamps.
