Alberto Meda

Alberto Meda was born in Tremezzina in 1945. He studied Mechanical Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Milan.
Among 1972 and 1979, is technical director of Kartell. Later, designer freelance for companies such as Alias, Alessi, Cinelli, Colombo design, Ideal Standard, Luceplan, Legrand, Duck Mandarin, Omron Japan, Philips, Olivetti or Vitra. He is also a project advisor at Alfa Romeo.
From 1983 to 1987, he teaches industrial technology at the Academia Domus in Milan. In the middle of the 90, he is a professor at the Polytechnic University of Milan and a member of the board of directors of the Designlaborator Bremerhaven. From 2003, he teaches at the IUAV University of Venice.
