BD Barcelona Design is the Spanish company of furniture and home accessories with greater prestige and international recognition in the design world.
It was founded in 1972 by the prestigious architects and designers Pep Bonet, Lluis Clotet, Cristian Cirici, Mireia Riera and Oscar Tusquets as a production vehicle for all those pieces of furniture, objects and accessories that did not exist in stores.
In the BD catalog are designs of contemporary creators as important internationally as Alfredo Häberli, Jaime Hayón, Konstantin Grcic or Ross Lovegrove, or historical as Antoni Gaudí or Salvador Dalí.

Jaime Hayon (Madrid, 1974) has starred in one of the most flashing careers that have been seen in the recent history of contemporary design. He was born and trained in Madrid, but he set himself up as a designer at Fabrica. In 2004 he decided to start his personal career, he settled in Barcelona and began to work on various projects while showing his most personal work in art galleries. His exhibition Mediterranean Digital Baroque at the David Gill Gallery in London, together with the bathroom collection he designed for ArtQuitect, branded the beginning of his meteoric international projection.
