Description
In 1945, Charles and Ray Eames they developed a veneer toy elephant, which, however, never made it to the production stage. One of the prototypes was loaned to the Museum of Modern Art in New York for an exhibition in 1946. It is still part of the Eames family collection today.
After the limited edition of 2007, Vitra serial production of the Eames Elephant Plywood has now started for the first time.
