Tobia Scarpa (Italy, 1935) is the son of the famous Italian architect Carlo Scarpa. He began his career as a designer of lamps, furniture and glassware, and at the beginning of 1960, he began to design modern furniture based on the principles of Le Corbusier.
His wife Afra and he have designed for several of the most important Italian design firms. His projects are exhibited in the main museums of the world, chosen for several international design exhibitions.
