Gaetano Pesce (La Spezia, 1939) is an Italian architect and designer graduated in architecture from the Ca 'Foscari University of Venice. Pesce has worked as an architect and designer around the world and has collaborated for brands such as B&B Italy, Vitra y Cassina.
From 1962 he focused on design furniture, experimenting with new materials and shapes. His designs are characterized precisely by experimentation mixed with a certain degree of irony.
After a long period in Paris, he moved to New York at 1983, where he lives and works. Some of his designs have been included in the MoMA collections and the Victoria and Alberto Museum.
