Greta M. Grossman
Greta M. Grossman (1906-1999) stood out in the fields of industrial design, interiors and architecture. This Swedish designer emigrated in the 40 years to the USA and was imbued with the Californian modernism of the mid-twentieth century.
During the decades of 40 and 50 he made his most representative designs, among which stand the floor lamp Gräshoppa (1947) and the lamp Cobra (1950). With this last design, he won the prestigious Good Design Award. He has exhibited at the MoMA in New York or at the National Museum in Stockholm, among others.
