Aluminum Group by Charles and Ray Eames

Within the great furniture icons of the twentieth century, there is a collection that can not go unnoticed as it is one of the most significant designs of that century.

This is the Aluminum Group collection. Elegant, bright, sophisticated and precious, what is most striking when you have one in front of you is the purity of its materials. Things well done are noticeable. In fact, it is the only chair that I know of with a 30-year warranty. Quite a record.

Made in die-cast aluminum, we can find them in 2 terminations: Chrome or polished. When the chairs are new it is very difficult to differentiate these two terminations. Only when the time passes and begins to age can you clearly see the difference: The chromed remains bright while the polish is taking a patina with the passage of time that from my point of view gives authenticity. I personally like the polished finish more.

As for the upholstery there are several colors and materials such as leather, Hopsak fabric or Netweave, a kind of semi-transparent mesh perfect for visitor chairs. The options are huge, with arms, without them, with legs, with wheels for parquet or carpet, medium height backrests, high backrests for Direction, padded, etc ...

They are timeless pieces that last over time being above fashion or tastes because such a design can not dislike.

Although it was born as operational seating, it is not difficult to find these pieces in dining rooms or living rooms, waiting areas or entrances, etc.
